During our recent trip to Tanzania, our team hosted a three-day Vacation Bible School for 200+ children. For three hours each day, the church grounds buzzed with color, music, and smiles as kids rotated through fun, hands-on stations. We designed each station to spark curiosity and joy while pointing every heart toward Jesus.
Children colored Bible scenes, played team games, learned memory verses with motions, and heard simple object lessons that made the Gospel clear. After the activities, everyone gathered for a focused Gospel teaching, followed by personal prayer for any child who wanted it. God met many of them with peace, hope, and big, beaming grins.
At the end of each day, every child received a small prize and a fresh lunch to take home—because we wanted them to feel both seen and cared for in practical ways. We’re grateful to the local leaders and volunteers who made this possible, and to everyone who prayed and supported the trip. Seeds were planted that we believe will grow for years to come.
“Let the little children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.” – Mark 10:14
